[Skitzo-The Buddy System]

Not entirely sure why, but I didn't find this one as creepy as your others. I think the ones that have some major turning point where things are clearly progressing, but highly off-kilter (like the scene after Skitzo kills the rich ostrich in "Spare a Dime?") are the most effective — where it feels like something "else" has taken control of the story and is perverting it.

However, at the same time, your choice of music was absolutely perfect for this one. This cartoon, out of all of the others, sounded the most like an old 1920s-era short.

Ah yes haha I get what you mean! In the case with "spare a dime" the story said that 2 clips were found and sewed together which resulted in a longer and far more demonic clip because it had some of the lost bits that are usually burned right away! That being said, I will take that advice on the next clip :) haha. They dont always have a complete "story" and some are creepier then others yeah. The key is to show Skitzo and his character and how each clip reveals more bits about him lol. Thanks for the awesome review!

Rtil really carries this submission by himself.

Rtil's "Rina-chan and the Brawl Boyz" segment is really the shining jewel of the whole collab. The combination of an outstanding trance track with the very, very impressive animation forgives some of the other extremely immature segments, but only so much. The "Brawl Taunts Smoothie" segment was somewhat amusing, but really, it was the only other segment that actually looked like anyone put any real effort into it. I mean, seriously. I get the argument about "nothing new on NG" but you could, y'know, actually -do- something new instead of just complaining about it. Anyway.

...but shows signs of potential. Admittedly, I didn't expect a ton when I saw the description, but you understand the basics of animation, which is more than a lot of aspiring beginners "get" at first. If you do a sequel, I'd suggest using a voice actor through all of the characters, and not just Retardo -- Microsoft Bob has a horrible voice.

You're off to a good start!

I'm not a beginner XD. I know Flash quite well, I just had to whip something up very quickly for this folio. Since it's such a rushed piece of crap.. yah.

Pretty good for a first outing.

Seems like a good story to start with. Nice job. I'd suggest doing a little work in Photoshop or something for things like explosions (gigantic red circles don't necessarily imply a big boom) or, if photoshopping your own graphics is a little too time-consuming, do a Google Image search. You might find something you can use. Also - reduce the bitrate on your background music - it's great music, but it's probably 3/4 of your file size. If your stories get much longer than they are you're going to approach the 5 MB limit with things like that. Keep up the good work, looking forward to episode 2!

oh no.. backgrounds... *eep* i hate my bad on-computer artistic talent. so i hardly draw backgrounds.. thats why in some of my movies i just take .gif's from other sites

Good graphics, bad storyline.

While the thing was nice to look at (you've got some skill with a mouse) if you intended it to be funny, it isn't. Seeing "Boxers" OD on lines isn't even remotely funny. Soundtrack was okay, voiceovers could have been recorded at a lower level to keep them from peaking out like they were. Tell whoever did "Vagina's" voice to quit swallowing the mic. Maybe you should make fun of the excessive battle scenes/battle lengths in DBZ instead of turning characters into drug addicts.

Thanks for the advice. This is just a start, remmember. The next episode, I will have some real spoofs of DBZ, instead of things I make up. Ill try a little less effort next time :)
